Improving Outreach Activities on AVRR in Germany
IOM Germany’s outreach project aims to support migrants living in Germany who are unable or unwilling to stay through the provision of accurate and up-to-date communication materials and information events on the topic of voluntary return. These materials and events ensure that migrants have the required information to make an informed decision about voluntary return, as well as access to platforms where they can find further information on the topic. The communication materials include videos, infographics, and editorials, and are disseminated through a variety of platforms, such as social media channels and news outlets.

In addition, the project targets multipliers such as return counsellors, diaspora groups and migrant organizations, embassies and migration experts, among others. These multipliers act as trusted partners, who share information on assisted voluntary return and reintegration (AVRR) with migrants in their network. This ensures the widest possible dissemination of information on the topic of AVRR.
